Wine tasting in the walled garden

Join us for an afternoon of wine tasting in the historic walled garden led by archaeologist and wine expert Kat Hornak.

Enjoy a variety of local London wines from leading urban wineries, including Blackbook and London Cru.

As you taste, Kat will combine her knowledge of archaeology with her experience in wine production, revealing the surprising links between Britain’s winemaking past and present.

Fulham Palace has been a site of human activity for over 6,000 years. From Neolithic tools and Roman pottery to medieval structures and Victorian gardens, the site reflects layers of history. Once home to the Bishops of London for more than 1,300 years, it now welcomes visitors as a museum and heritage site, offering a remarkable setting to explore the rich history of wine in Britain.
