Wine tasting in the walled garden
Join us for an afternoon of wine tasting in the walled garden vinery, hosted by archaeologist and wine expert Kat Hornak.
From the vineyards of Campania to the walls of Roman Londinium, the wine we know and love today is part of a cultural legacy that spans two thousand years of rich history. Enjoy a cosy afternoon in the vinery as you sample a selection of delicious drinks from some of the capital’s leading urban wineries, including Blackbook and London Cru.
Sit and sip while Kat guides you on a journey through time, revealing the hidden connections between Britain’s winemaking past and present in the environs of one of London’s oldest botanical gardens.
